Début 2012, le Préfet de Tarn-et-Garonne annonce à la directrice co-fondatrice des Nuits de Lauzerte, Madame Bernadette Tauran, qu'il lui a été attribuée la médaille du tourisme, échelon bronze. "Cette distinction honorifique est la juste récompense de l'activité que vous avez menée, " poursuit-il.
La réaction de Bernadette? "C'est tous ensemble que nous faisons Les Nuits de Lauzerte, donc c'est ensemble que nous partageons cette distinction..."

On 10 January, Director and co-founder of the festival Les Nuits de Lauzerte, Madame Bernadette Tauran, learned that she had been awarded a bronze national tourism award. "This honorary award is in recognition of the activity you have managed ...." states the Prefect of the Tarn-et-Garonne, on behalf of the Minister for Tourism.
Bernadette was quick to respond: "The Nuits de Lauzerte is a joint effort, involving all of us, so it is together that all of us share this recogntion."
She is currently working on the programme for the 13th Nuits de Lauzerte

Start collecting miniature façades of Lauzerte and other neighbouring villages.
This year, the first three façades are available in the form of fridge magnets or stand alone miniatures. A fourth 3D version faithfully reproduces one of the houses on Place des Cornières. Every year, new façades will be added, so you can carry on collecting, recreating the medieval streets and the square of Lauzerte.
Price: 6 euros for each façade miniature (or 16 euros for all three) ; 16 euros for the 3D version.

Deux spectacles du "Monde enchanté/déjanté" des Nuits de Lauzerte ont commencé. Depuis samedi 19, l'installation vidéo "I believe in miracles" de Françoise Quardon tourne dans une salle de la galerie Espace Points de Vue . C'est l’œuvre de la collection du frac-les Abattoirs (centre régional d'art moderne et contemporain, toulouse midi pyrénées). A partir de vendredi 25, vous pourrez visiter l'expo "Une archéologie de la Fée" proposée par la Cie La Foule et visible à la médiathèque.
